Michigan Avenue Detour Closure and New Traffic Pattern Starting May 5

MOBILE, Ala. (April 30, 2025) –  Starting Monday, May 5, 2025, the Michigan Avenue Detour will close permanently to allow work to begin on the airfield construction for the Mobile International Airport Terminal, including apron development. The new traffic pattern will route drivers to Perimeter Road, which will provide access to the terminal and Signature Flight Support.
